Border Crossing Updated!

The US-Mexico border has new inspection stations on both sides.

The new crossing, referred to as "El Chaparral", features all new installations on both sides of the border. Mexico has stepped up security considerably, vetting vehicle traffic with better traffic controls and an expanded security area.

As well, the crossing into Mexico enters into a different area, so the streets have changed.

Expect to be stopped occasionally. Your car will receive a brief but thorough inspection: hood, trunk, and interior. You will be expected to provide proof of vehicle ownership. Although annoying, the stop is considerable less inconvenient than the secondary inspections which take place on the US side.

Shown below is the new map with directions to our location. The route shown is "Via Rapida", although you may take "Paseo De Los Heroes" as well.

If you take the latter, simply:
1) Turn left at the "Indian Statue"the Aztec Cheiftain Cuauhtemocdriving around the turnaround as if it were a standard US intersection.
2) Take the second right past the pink and cream colored hotel "Camino De Real". (Stick to the right, do not pass over the bridge. You will then see our office building straight ahead, pictured below)

There is parking available at our building for around $1 per hour.

* Keep in mind that our clinic now provides Medical Passes for crossing back into the US, eliminating the need to wait in line!
